the BOW VILLAGE PROJECT

Nestled along the river in one of Bowness' hidden gems, this remarkable home enjoys an unparalleled setting where expansive views and natural light take center stage.

Having lived in the home for many years, the homeowners knew it was time to thoughtfully reimagine the space for the next chapter of their lives. From the outset, their vision was a comprehensive renovation that would transform the home to better support aging in place, beginning with the addition of an elevator and an upper-floor expansion. This provided the opportunity to redesign the entire home with a focus on improved flow, enhanced functionality, and timeless design.

Every space was carefully planned to strike a balance between beauty and practicality. The layout was reconfigured to better support the homeowners' day-to-day lifestyle while incorporating subtle universal design principles that will allow them to move comfortably through every stage of life without sacrificing style or comfort.

With the home's spectacular riverfront location serving as our inspiration, we embraced the surrounding landscape rather than competing with it. A soft, light-filled palette, natural textures, and timeless finishes were selected to complement the breathtaking backdrop, allowing the views to remain the focal point while filling the interiors with warmth and serenity.

The result is a home that feels effortlessly elegant, highly functional, and deeply connected to its surroundings—a timeless renovation designed not only for the way the homeowners live today, but for the years ahead.
