the lakehouse project
Overlooking the lake in Chaparral, this home already offered breathtaking views and a thoughtful layout. Our goal was to honor those qualities while elevating the interior with a brighter, more sophisticated design. Without altering the floor plan too much, we focused on refreshing the interior to enhance the natural light and highlight the lake views. We increased storage and optimized the home’s efficiency to better suit the homeowners lifestyle, while introducing colour and finishes to brighten the overall palette. Beautiful draperies were added to frame the stunning arched windows, and every detail was considered - from preliminary design drawings through to the final piece of decor - bringing fresh, new life to this lakeside retreat.
